When the hurricanes of 2005 hit the Gulf Coast, we adopted an extended family of 15 members, by furnishing them with everything necessary for two apartments. We collected items from bedding to kitchenware to lamps and other furniture, etc. It was a time of reaching out and helping our neighbors who lost everything. Christmas 2006, we adopted a family who cares for disabled children and furnished items from clothing, to bedding, to cleaning supplies, toys and more. At Christmas and through out the year, when we hear of a need, our office rises to the occasion. We’re givers, not takers! |
